What is pace of play at Hillcrest?

Pace of Play expectations are that ALL groups should finish their 18-hole round in no more than 4 hours and 15 minutes. 9 hole rounds should not exceed 2 hours and 5 minutes. Golf Course Play Assistants have the authority to enforce all rules & pace of play whenever necessary.

Is the golf course open year round?

Hillcrest golf course closes on the first weekend of December and reopens after February 28th of each year. The exact opening date depends on the weather conditions and will vary from year to year. In the winter, when conditions permit, Hillcrest Maintenance staff grooms a cross-country skiing course. Please call the Clubhouse at (970) 247-1499 for more information about opening and closing dates for this year.

What are your practice range hours?

When the golf course is open, the upper and lower driving range are open from dawn until dusk.

How do I post a score for my GHIN Handicap?

Hillcrest has a handicap computer on-site, but you can also post your score by downloading the USGA GHIN app or by visiting the GHIN website. An active handicap is required for tournament play per the USGA. All tournament scores (including HWGA play) will be posted by the head professional.
