About the Navajo Trail Open

The Navajo Tail Open is an annual tournament held in Durango, Colorado, that welcomes amateurs and professionals from around the country. The event benefits the Hillcrest Junior Golf Foundation. The pro-am event is held on Thursday and the 54-hole open follows Friday through Sunday.

The Navajo Trail Open is a prize for the Durango community. Thank you for all your hard work in pulling it together this year. The course was in fabulous condition and the event was organized flawlessly. – Eben Harrell

About the Navajo Trail Open

The Navajo Trail Open is the third oldest open tournament in Colorado. It started in 1960 when the golf course was only a 9-hole track. Over the years, the tournament transitioned from an amateur event to a professional event, and in 2000, the Hillcrest Junior Golf Foundation was created to raise money for the event and a sponsors tournament was added the weekend prior to the main event.
